Due to the late planting season, American Crystal Sugar Company shareholders will be seeding an additional 10,000 acres of beets this spring. This decision was made so the cooperative has adequate tonnage to operate its plants. The additional acreage is limited to growers who signed up for its Targeted Acres Program.
