Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has signed an executive order giving a temporary exemption from the hours-of-service rules for commercial drivers hauling anhydrous ammonia or other fertilizers to state farmers. Supply shortages and the delayed planting season are cited as the reasons for the decision.
