The Red River Farm Network has joined forces with Pioneer Seeds to bring farmers weekly agronomy updates during the 2019 planting season. Farmers in the Tower City, North Dakota area are making planting preparations. Innovative Ag Solutions owner and Pioneer sales representative Justin Johnson says seed deliveries are going out. “Conditions are wet still. Nobody is in the field, but hopefully in a week’s time there will be more activity.” In a delayed planting scenario, Pioneer field agronomist Jesse Moch says having a plan is important. Early planted soybeans may be one option. “They are resilient in cold moisture, but you definitely need a fungicide seed treatment on them.” View the Facebook Live video here.
