Cargill plans to invest $112 million to expand the size of its corn processing facility in northeastern China. The plan is to increase capacity to two million metric tons per year by 2020. This is part of a joint effort between Cargill and the local government to build the Sino-US Cargill Biotech Industrial Park, which will include a food safety and technology center.
