Thursday’s USDA weekly export sales report confirmed more pork sales to China. Net pork sales for the week ending April 11 are 40,300 metric tons and 23,500 of those tonnes were sales to China. That means more than 101,000 tonnes of pork has been sold to China in the past two weeks. For the week, net pork sales were down 56 percent from last week, but six percent more than four-week average.
