In the current market environment, price targets may not be reached. Northland Community and Technical College Farm Business Management Instructor Betsy Jensen is advising farmers to have a Plan B. “Take a hard look at time deadlines and make sure you get some forward contracting done, even if you do it through gritted teeth.” Jensen says it is not too early to be pricing 2020 crops. “The prices are not braggable, but respectable.”
