President Donald Trump said Mexico has already responded to his concerns about illegal immigration and he will back away from his threat to close the southern U.S. border. Trump is giving Mexico a one-year warning to make changes or the U.S. will impose tariffs on Mexican car imports. In a statement, the American Farm Bureau Federation said it is relieved by the administration’s decision. Farm Bureau described Mexico as an “essential” trading partner, especially for U.S. agriculture.
