The omnibus transportation bill is on the way to Minnesota House Ways and Means Committee. The $7.2 billion plan would increase the state gas tax by five cents per gallon per year over four years. In the Transportation Finance Committee, an amendment also passed that would clarify permitting when hauling farm commodities.
