Northstar Commodity Chief Analyst Mark Schultz thinks spring planting delays are becoming less of a market factor. Trade is still top-of-mind. “It does sound like we’re getting closer to an agreement with China, but the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement hasn’t been ratified either,” says Schultz. “President Trump is talking about closing the border with Mexico this week. If it evolved into trade, it would be more of a negative tone.”
