The snow melt is beginning across the Canadian Prairies, but Glacier Farm Media Director of Markets and Weather Bruce Burnett says flooding is not a concern. “The moisture conditions across the prairies were fairly dry this winter,” says Burnett. “Some parts of the prairies have had two years of drought.” Burnett is expecting a fairly large flood in the Red River Basin.
