Badger, Minnesota farmer Shane Isane, who is a member of the Minnesota Farm Bureau board, says the ratification of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement is a priority. “We get a lot of press about China trade and that is important, but USMCA is something that Congress could get done immediately.” President Trump and his counterparts in Mexico and Canada signed the trade deal last year, but it still needs approval from Congress. “They’re counting votes and making sure they have a positive outcome.” Isane was part of the MFBF delegation on Capitol Hill this past week.
