The South Dakota Department of Agriculture is working on a change in the make-up of the South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council. The rule would increase the number of districts from seven-to-nine and reorganize the counties in those nine new districts. The proposed change is designed to reflect where soybeans are grown across the state. A public hearing has been scheduled for April 17.
