There are still acres in flex for the 2019 planting season. According to Pioneer Seed area agronomist Zach Fore, acreage decisions still depend on weather and markets. “We’re unique in a lot of ways,” said Fore. “In the ‘I’ states, they plant corn and soybeans and it may be a little more or a little less. Here, our growers will adapt and react much more than anywhere else in the country.”
