In addition to the wintery mix, parts of South Dakota started to flood Wednesday. Ethan, South Dakota farmer and former United Soybean Board Chair Lewis Bainbridge said there’s been an incredible amount of moisture floating through and off onto the roads. “We had a few warm days where it thawed things out and on top of that, the area received two inches of rain,” said Bainbridge. “The ground is still frozen and there’s no place for the water to go. It’s not just us, there was really bad flooding in Nebraska. It’s a mess everywhere.”
