The North Dakota IHS Markit forecast was released Tuesday. The forecast is considered a second opinion for state lawmakers. North Dakota Senator and Jamestown, North Dakota farmer Terry Wanzek has a more conservative view. “Our budget as it stands is still upside down. We’ll compare the two revenue forecasts and we’ll probably come to a level where we have to agree,” says Wanzek. “We’ll pass it out of the appropriations committee, a new revenue forecast we’ll build on.”
