With the amount of snow piled up, farmers seem resigned to the fact that it will be a late spring. Bolt Marketing market analyst DuWayne Bosse says planting delays could become a market factor. “Usually, a late spring is an isolated situation, but this year, we’re wet across the country. I think it is a spark that could ignite this market, but it is probably about three weeks down the road. Watch the corn market because that’s the one that really needs the acres this year.”
