The North Dakota Legislature believes meat should come from an animal and not from a lab. The Senate passed legislation that defines meat and bans misleading marketing of cell-cultured products. After an 87-1 vote in the House, the bill passed 44-1 in the Senate and now goes to Governor Doug Burgum.
