At the North Dakota Winter Show, Robert Carlson and Dr. Marcia McMullen were inducted into the North Dakota Agriculture Hall of Fame. Carlson served as the North Dakota Farmers Union President for 15 years and was the first president of the World Farmers Organization. The Glenburn native also pioneered the Carbon Credit Program and helped establish Prairie Pride Cooperative. Dr. McMullen is a retired North Dakota State University professor and Extension plant pathologist. During her 30-year career at NDSU, McMullen’s research focused on disease management in wheat and barley.
