The U.S. Department of Agriculture will release the export sales report Thursday. Advance Trading Commodity Research Analyst Brian Basting says USDA will be staggering the release of export sales reports. “The USDA will go back and update the weeks omitted because of the shutdown. They’re only going to go back one week at a time for a few weeks,” he says. “There will be old information, but it will at least be a start to bring us up to date.” Basting says the numbers will start to fill in some gaps.
