The North Dakota House of Representatives voted 90-0 in support of allowing freeze brands as legal proof of cattle ownership. The bill was initiated by the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association following policy passed at the 2017 convention. A number of states and provinces already allow freeze brands on cattle. The bill now heads to the Senate for approval.
