National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson tells farmers it’s important to take care of yourself. “Too often, conversations are more focused around the budget,” he says. “We also need responsible public policy to mitigate some of the impacts. There’s more money in the farm bill to help with challenges facing farmers in the economy.” Keeping rural health and wellness in check is one of several resolutions adopted during the North Dakota Farmers Union Convention.
