A Minnesota farmer is the new vice president for the American Soybean Association. Bill Gordon, who farms at Worthington, is pleased with the level of cooperation between ASA and the United Soybean Board, creating opportunities for the future. “Even there are problems and economic hardships in agriculture, these are exciting times,” said Gordon. “If we can figure out this tariff situation and make new trade agreements with Japan, Europe and other TPP countries in Southeast Asia, we can turn this around and who wouldn’t want to be part of the team to make that happen.”
