There’s still crop in the ground across the region. “It definitely has provided more challenge than we’d like to see,” said Larry Lunder, agronomist, Pioneer. “If you go west of Jamestown to Montana, which is the area I cover, we’re looking at roughly 20 percent of the sunflowers and 20 percent of the corn left to be harvested. We’ve made progress, but not as fast as we’d like.”
