President Trump and his Chinese counterpart will meet for dinner Saturday night in Buenos Aires. This dinner is one of the last things on Trump’s itinerary before returning to Washington. At the Northern Ag Expo, Pro Farmer analyst Jim Wiesemeyer said it is hard to know what will come out of these meetings. “I don’t think they will solve all of their issues, but if Trump and his top trade advisors agree that a framework agreement could work, we’d finally have some upbeat news in the trade area.” Ahead of the G20 Summit, Trump’s top economic advisor said there is a good possibility that a deal can be made to resolve the trade dispute with China.
