With EPA’s decision to extend the registration of dicamba products for another two years, Bayer dicamba portfolio lead Ryan Rubischko says additional efforts are being taken to ensure success with this weed control product. That includes the cleanout of the entire spray system. “There is an understanding with dicamba that it doesn’t take much to contaminate a tank or hose, so looking beyond the tank itself is important. Use best management practices.” In areas with more tough-to-control weeds, Rubischko is seeing more interest in the dicamba formulated products.
