National Farmers Union President Roger Johnson is troubled by the current trade situation. China needed attention, but Johnson says that’s no reason to pick a fight with the rest of the world. “We expect all of these people that we have offended more than once to somehow join with us to hold China accountable, that’s not how people behave. I think we’re in for a long, hard slog.” The trade situation is complicated, but Johnson believes something has to happen quickly. “We lost a generation in the 80s and we’re about to do that again.”
