The second round of Market Facilitation Program payments are expected to become available at the beginning of December. In the first round of payments, corn growers received one cent per bushel on half of their production. North Dakota Corn Growers Association Executive Director Dale Ihry says corn payments couldn’t go lower, only higher. “We’ve asked USDA to take into consideration the loss of ethanol markets, dried distillers grains and regional differences in the next payouts.”
