Ag Processing Incorporated is building a soybean processing plant in Aberdeen, South Dakota. AGP Merchandising Manager Adam Piper says the plant will come into full production in 2019. “Right now, there’s lots of building going on in anticipation of getting things ready to go for summer or fall.” It’s a challenging time for soybean farmers. Many are storing their crop, waiting to see what happens on the trade front. It’s also a challenging time for the crushing business. “We’d love to see prices higher to give farmers a chance for better margins. We’re making our way through it.”
