The price projections in the USDA’s 10 year outlook for corn appear to be rather stagnant, ranging in price from $3.50 for the 2018/19 crop to a high for the 2021/22 crop of $4.10 per bushel.Then, price will slide back to $3.70 per bushel at the end of the 10 year projection. USDA expects the soybean prices to range from $8.60 per bushel for the 2018/19 crop to a high of $9.95 during the 2022/23 crop. Then, the price will fall back to $9.45 range the final three years of the outlook. USDA’s 10 year base line projection for wheat prices is expected to reach a high of $5.40 during the 2022/23 crop year before sliding back to near $5 by the end of the 10-year projection.
