The Fargo-Moorhead area has made a bid to be the new location for USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the Economic Research Service. Late this summer, USDA announced plans to relocate these facilities outside of the Washington, D.C. Beltway. The Greater Fargo-Moorhead Economic Development Corporation submitted the proposal, highlighting North Dakota State University’s leadership as a land-grant institution and the region’s commitment to technology.
