Before the recent snow and rain showers, Fergus Falls, Minnesota farmer Galen Affield made good corn harvest progress. “We made the decision to start harvesting corn first, and it was a good decision,” says Affield. “We haven’t touched soybeans yet, as there’s too much moisture. Hopefully they will dry down, and I haven’t heard of any tremendous yields yet.” Affield adds a large portion of soybeans still need to be harvested in the area.
