According to Pioneer Agronomist Clyde Tiffany, harvest in west central Minnesota is hit or miss with wet conditions slowing soybean harvest. However, farmers have got a good start on the corn crop. “We had extremely high yields on silage harvest,” says Tiffany. “Obviously, there are some areas that got hurt worse with some excess rains on the southern part of my territory. We’re on the edge of what southwestern Minnesota and southern Minnesota got, which was way too much water and lots of drown out areas.”
