As expected, the Trump Administration is implementing ten percent tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese products. These tariffs take effect September 24 and will increase to 25 percent on January 1. China has already announced it will retaliate, but hasn’t offered any details. In a statement, President Trump said if China takes punitive action against U.S. farmers or other industries, another round of tariffs will be put in place.
