Twenty state agriculture departments, including North Dakota and Minnesota, want the decision for the cutoff date for dicamba application to be made at the state level. A letter has been sent to EPA officials, saying it would be “burdensome” if states had to ask the federal government for exceptions to the label. The EPA is expected to announce its decision on the dicamba registration within a matter of weeks.
