Grand Forks, North Dakota farmer Chris Adams is harvesting dry beans. Dry bean yields are surprising. “We were expecting that top end to be quite low on them, but all of our specialty varieties like cranberries and kidney beans, they are more than the 2,000 pound mark which is pretty good for for those varieties. Our black beans were pretty good. We are getting around 3,000 pounds off of those.”
