Farmland values are holding firm. “The tone of the market has surprised us, given everything that is going on in agriculture,” said Brent Qualey, Farmers National Company. “The prices received have met or exceeded our expectations. That being said, quality still matters.” Qualey was part of a land values seminar organized by the Red River Farm Network during the Big Iron Farm Show. There isn’t much land on the market, which can be credited for the current values.
