The agricultural commodity brokerage firm, Allendale, has released the results of their annual Nationwide Producer Yield Survey. The survey suggests a projected U.S. corn crop of 14.529 billion bushels with an average yield of 178.38 bushels per acres. The U.S. soybean crop is estimated at 4.636 billion bushels and an average yield of 51.61 bushels per acre. The survey’s projected corn yields are 189 bushels per acre in Minnesota, 166 bushels in South Dakota and 144 bushels in North Dakota. Soybean yields are estimated at 49 bushels per acres in Minnesota, 46 bushels per acres in South Dakota and 36 bushels in North Dakota. Estimates were based on producer calculated yields in 34 states and covers 86 percent of corn production and 83 percent of soybean production..
