The DTN/Progressive Farmer Digital Yield Tour is projected a record or near-record corn and soybean crop. This tour uses plant health and yield prediction maps from Gro Intelligence. The national average corn yield is forecast at just under 175 bushels per acre. That compares to an estimate of 178.4 bushels per acre in the August USDA crop report. This DTN effort calls for a national soybean yield average of 50.6 bushels per acre. That’s down one bushel from USDA’s latest forecast.
