The 2018 IDEAg Dakotafest took place Tuesday through Thursday in Mitchell, South Dakota. This year’s show features educational sessions, political candidate forums and an agribusiness showcase. With over 500 exhibits, the newest and hottest agriculture trends will be featured. Even in a tight ag economy, IDEAg Event Sales Director John Hendel says Dakotafest is a place for farmers and ranchers to price compare. “See what the different companies have to offer in new technologies, or what may have been available even five years ago that has come back. These tools are designed to tackle challenges farmers may have in their field or help ranchers better take care of cattle,” says Hendel. “The show is just a great way to connect and understand. These exhibitors are invested in the industry and here to help farmers and ranchers.”
The Red River Farm Network’s Dakotafest coverage is sponsored by Bekaert Fencing.
