A Minnesota Department of Agriculture trade delegation is home after spending time in Taiwan. Agriculture Commissioner Dave Frederickson came home with a commitment that Taiwan will come to Minnesota next year to announce a grain purchase. Frederickson says relationships are important, but the current trade environment make that a difficult task. “Unfortunately, what is happening with the President’s approach is we are becoming collateral damage. I’m tired of being patient. It takes a long time to build these markets and we lose them in a snap of a finger.”
