North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp met with Northern Plains Potato Growers Association members to discuss trade and the farm bill. Heitkamp said trade is the big issue. “Some of the issues the potato growers have brought to my attention concern me. I’ve raised several of these things with Canadian ambassador. We want to see how we can strategize getting these issues resolved.”
