The University of Minnesota-Crookston is offering a new Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Communications this fall. Chancellor Mary Holz-Clause says it is very important for local farmers to have accurate research and scientific-based information. She says the program “provides one more opportunity for students to stay in agriculture.” The agricultural communications program expands on the school’s agriculture heritage. “It is very much the genesis of who are. It is the essence of this region.”
