The spring wheat and field pea crops in the Ryder, North Dakota area are advancing rapidly. Dakota Agronomy Partners sales agronomist Seth Larson says some fields are getting close. “Some of the early seeded spring wheat, farmers are starting to desiccate that within the last few days. We’ve been really busy dessicating peas. Harvest is going to be coming up pretty quick, probably within the next few days.” Larson says there is a lot of optimism going into harvest. “Spring wheat looks really really good this year. Peas look better than they have the last couple years.”
