In a series of tweets Friday, President Donald Trump called out China, the European Union and others for manipulating their currencies. The stronger dollar makes U.S. exports more expensive in global markets. On Twitter, Trump also said farmers have been on a downward trend for 15 years, blaming bad trade deals for declining farm commodity prices. Trump also cited trade barriers and tariffs including Canada’s dairy policy.
