With this being the second year for the new dicamba formulations, BASF Technical Service Representative Ken Deibert says growers are in a better position with this technology. “The training and education that happened over the winter months was a factor in this and farmers realize that all of these tools are going to be important in the future to control weeds.” Deibert is pleased with the weed control seen with the dicamba product. “With our product, Engenia, performance has been phenomenal. For me personally, I haven’t taken a single call about the lack of weed control.”
