Having a plan is important, especially in times of trade uncertainty. “I really feel if everyone’s open and we’re on the same page, we can put together some sort of plan to work through those situations. Once you kind of have everybody on board with the plan, it’s a lot easier to implement it. The other part is maybe some of the options you had before won’t be an option.” Miller says farmers need to be disciplined in their marketing plan.
