Cattle producers gathered in the Windom, Minnesota area on July 10 for the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association Summer Tour and Trade Show. The day’s events kicked off bright and early, as 16 charter buses were lined up at 7 a.m. to carry cattlemen on the tour. MSCA Executive Director Ashley Kohls says the stops are designed to please the masses. “We took a look at both small and large feeding facility that focus on stockmenship in modern facilities,” says Kohls. “There were a number of grazing stops as well that focus on intense grazing and targeted rotational grazing. They’re the highlights of public private partnerships between cattle producers and agencies with EQUIP dollars.”
