Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue says finding enough legal farm workers is a big concern. “We don’t have enough domestic workers for many industries, but particularly agricultural industries. It really gets down to do we want to import a legal farm workforce or import our food? And I think most people would love to have their food continue to be produced in the United States. I certainly want to see that, but we can’t do it without a legal workforce. I hope Congress can deal with that in July before the break.”
