According to Purdue University’s Ag Economy Barometer, farmer sentiment improved in June. It’s surprising for Purdue researchers, but concerns about the potential for reduced exports to China were replaced by improving crop conditions. There is uncertainty in agriculture and respondents noted that. Twenty-six percent of farmers expect good times in agriculture during the next year, down from 32 percent in May.
