The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is awarding nearly 30 grants totaling $300,000 statewide to deal with noxious weeds. Numerous counties and Soil and Water Conservation Districts in the region will receive funds to purchase equipment, conduct mapping and outreach efforts and hire private applicators to manage noxious weeds.
